The basis of this career program is to prepare students in the field of business administration. Course offerings include General Business, Microsoft Word, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship.
Students will become proficient in the following technology applications: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Desktop Publishing, and Multimedia. Students are encouraged to take the Microsoft Office Certification Test.
This career pathway is designed to meet the needs of students interested in Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship. The curriculum is driven by the needs of the American business community. The co-curricular DECA organization is a venue that helps our students build self-esteem and leadership skills. The competitive program allows students to develop career competencies in their respective chosen career.
Students interested in pursuing a career in the field of finance will learn up-to-date trends in the field of banking. Their course sequence will include Accounting I and II. Students will intern with in our school base branch of the North Jersey Federal Credit Union, The Castle.
